A WWE star has responded to criticsm of his WWE 2K26 first look, promising that there are updates to come.
One of the first WWE 2K26 entrances to be officially revealed was that of two-time NXT Champion Oba Femi.
While it has amassed almost 2 million views on X alone, it was met with some criticism as it featured a look and entrance motion that is more reminiscent of Femi’s earlier days in NXT compared to now.
Femi was asked about this on the latest edition of No-Contest Wrestling, and promised fans that there will be updates.
He said:
“Here’s the thing – there is a version of Oba Femi when I first started, when they did the initial motion capture for that, I did walk like that and I did have my hair up. So that is a version of Oba Femi.
“Don’t worry, there’s updates coming. There’s definitely updates coming. Fans, you’ll get the original strut with the hair down – I promise.
“One more thing – we do need the red gear, the black and red gear. I love the purple and gold, but the black and red gear, the one I faced Cody in, that’s the one.”
