A WWE star has publicly commented on having been omitted from the recent tournament leading up to the King & Queen of the Ring.

While the finals for the Queen of the Ring tournament were confirmed on SmackDown, one star who wasn’t in the running spoke out on social media.

WWE Raw star and member of Damage CTRL Kairi Sane did not take part in the tournament and confirmed that it wasn’t due to lack of desire.

Kairi Sane wrote on Twitter:

“I wanted to participate in the tournament……

“#WWEKingAndQueen”

For the first time, WWE SmackDown was held live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia rather than airing a pre-taped edition of the program on the night before a premium live event in Saudi Arabia.

On the show, Nia Jax won her way into the Queen of the Ring final confirming the match would be Lyra Valkyria versus Jax.

Also, Randy Orton beat Tama Tonga in the show’s main event to advance to the King of the Ring final against GUNTHER.
