WWE Star Pulled From WrestleMania 41, Replacement Confirmed WWE

A WWE star has officially announced that he has been pulled from is match at WrestleMania 41, but a replacement has been named.

Last night on SmackDown, a six-man tag team match saw American Made take on Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix.

During the course of the match, Mysterio appeared to suffer a leg injury and exited the ring to be looked at by the ringside doctor.

He never returned to the match and the other five men finished it without him, with Lee and Fenix going to check on him as soon as the match was over.

During the WrestleMania Countdown show before night one of the event tonight, Rey Mysterio confirmed that he is not cleared to wrestle tonight.

He was originally set for a one-on-one match against El Grande Americano (Chad Gable).

However, Mysterio also announced his replacement, confirming that Americano will now instead be facing Rey Fenix, who only joined the company a couple of weeks ago.

Mysterio and Fenix were also part of the announcement that WWE has acquired Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA.
