A WWE star has reportedly re-signed with the company on a new multi-year deal according to a new report.
With Santos Escobar officially departing WWE at the end of his contract today (October 7) there is now news of one WWE star who has agreed new terms to remain with the company.
According to Sean Ross Sapp and Fightful Select, Monday Night Raw star Xavier Woods has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE – extending his stay in the company beyond 15 years.
Woods signed with WWE in 2010 and has since become one of the most decorated tag team performers in the company’s history, winning 11 tag team championships across Raw, SmackDown and NXT as a part of The New Day, alongside Kofi Kingston and Big E.
Woods and Kingston shook up their characters in a major way in late 2024, turning heel for the first time in almost a decade at the expense of their friendship with the sidelined Big E.
Since the turn they won the WWE World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 41, holding the gold for 72 days before dropping the titles to current champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Woods and Kingston have also added a new member to The New Day in recent months with Grayson Waller allying himself with the duo after he and A-Town Down Under teammate Austin Theory separated.
