WWE Star Reacts To AEW Character Shift Fans Compared To Him

A WWE star has reacted to fan feedback that a recent character shift in AEW seems similar to his on-screen role.

On the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Christopher Daniels debuted his new ‘Interim EVP’ status after previously being ‘fired’ by the Young Bucks.

However when he first appeared, fans would be forgiven for doing a double take as for a split second, it almost seemed like it was WWE Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce!

As it turns out, in Adam Pearce’s own words, there was simply more representation for bald men in office attire on television, forced to be stern with the wrestlers on their respective rosters.

Amid the fan reaction, Adam Pearce revealed that he was also a fan, writing:

“I promise you that as Chicago rasslin’ kids and pals for 25+ years that @facdaniels and I are happy for each other; proud of our “time served” and that we continue to be of service to the wonderful business we chose to give our professional lives to.

“We are also sexy and bald.”

In response, Christopher Daniels said:

“It is official.

“@ScrapDaddyAP is 100% correct, in each of these points.

“(Although it’s not for me to say if I’m sexy or not, but bald is indisputable!)”

Christopher Daniels revealed in the segment on Dynamite that he would serve as ‘Interim EVP’ in Kenny Omega’s continued medical absence and would serve as a direct mouthpiece for the declarations of Tony Khan, which in this case, included announcing a ladder match for the now-vacant TNT Championship at Forbidden Door.

Adam Pearce for his part continues to be the WWE Raw General Manager, most recently having his hands quite full with a wild Bron Breakker on the loose.
