WWE star Carmelo Hayes has reacted to the announcement of his United States Championship match at Crown Jewel 2024.
After battling it out with Andrade for almost four months, Carmelo Hayes finally had the chance to put the feud to bed with their much-hyped ‘Game 7’ match-up on Friday’s SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY.
Unfortunately for Hayes and Andrade, special guest referee for the bout, LA Knight would allow his temper to get the better of him, delivering BFT’s to both men before prematurely ringing the bell.
With the bout originally set to determine a new number one contender for Knight’s title, Nick Aldis responded to the Mega Star’s actions by booking all three men in a match at Crown Jewel on November 2 in Riyadh.
Taking to Twitter after the match was announced, Hayes wrote:
My Game 7 moment was ruined. My Crown Jewel moment gonna be legendary. #WWECrownJewel
Crown Jewel will be Hayes’ first main roster PLE championship match and Andrade’s first in over four years.
