WWE Star Recalls Advice The Undertaker Gave Him In 2008

The Undertaker is one of the most respected figures in wrestling history. As such, his advice is often taken with the highest reverence. Such is the case with current WWE star Keith Lee.

Speaking on WWE’s Spanish preview of Survivor Series, Lee recalled the advice Undertaker gave him back in 2008 before he was even in the company. Here is the full quote, courtesy of Fightful:

“So I’ll try not to be long-winded about this. The Undertaker is a person that has had an impact on my career as well before I ever came along into WWE. Matter of fact, it dates all the way back to right before my very first tryout with WWE in 2008. He gave me my first bit of legendary suggestions or advice, if you will. It is something that has shaped my career ever since then and the simple phrase was, ‘make what you do mean something.’ So in accordance with that and a bit of time that I’ve been fortunate enough to spend with him in the last year, it’s just a lot of knowledge that I want to take. So I’m looking forward to seeing what Survivor series offers.”

Keith Lee went on to have a successful career on the independent scene, creating a name for himself before signing with WWE in 2018. Since then, he has gone on to become an NXT North American Champion and an NXT Champion.

The Undertaker is set to bid his Final Farewell at Survivor Series tonight. Some big names are also reportedly backstage for the event.
