WWE star Asuka has commented on the perception that she’s turning heel and being unfair to IYO SKY and Kairi Sane.

In recent weeks on WWE Raw, Asuka has seemed to be growing frustrated and jealous about IYO SKY forming friendships with other members of the roster, particularly Rhea Ripley.

Asuka has taken it upon herself to get in between SKY and Ripley, with Kairi Sane stuck in the middle of Asuka and SKY, seemingly feeling sorry for SKY but ultimately staying loyal to Asuka.

In a new video on her KanaChanTV YouTube channel, Asuka has explained that she doesn’t feel like she’s doing anything wrong.

In fact, she actually claims to be against the idea of telling people what to do. She explained:

“Japan’s got this senpai-kohai system, but America doesn’t have that, right? In Japan, when a senior gives orders to a junior, they’ve gotta follow them no matter what, right?

“But I think doing stuff like that is absolutely wrong. That’s why I never give orders to anyone.

“Especially with the juniors, I’m nice to them and create an environment where they can say, ‘I don’t like that’ if they don’t wanna do something. I never wanna be all high and mighty with people.

“That’s why I’m always like, ‘Kairi-chan, are you okay? Does it hurt? IYO-chan, are you alright?’ I tell them, ‘If there’s anything you want me to do, just say the word.’

“Really, those customs where you’ve gotta obey your seniors are no good. I think rules about having to obey seniors are absolutely wrong. So I’m going against that senpai-kohai system and focusing on flat, friendly relationships.

“I’ll say it again – I make sure I never do anything that’d make you uncomfortable.”

Kairi Sane, who was with her in the video, was nodding along and agreeing with what Asuka was saying – seemingly in fear of what would happen if she disagreed.

IYO SKY faces Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Wrestlepalooza on Saturday for the Women’s World Championship, which was recently vacated by Naomi due to her pregnancy.
