It is being reported by both Wrestlinginc.com and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that WWE has, without warning, removed Daniel Bryan from live events this weekend.
While it’s unknown whether Bryan is injured and the company are protecting him for a massive SummerSlam clash with the Miz, all reports point to the leader of the ‘Yes Movement’ requesting the rest himself. WWE complied with his wishes in order to keep him sweet while he contemplates whether to re-sign with the promotion.
Suffering from a long history of concussions, the reason he was forced to retire from the squared circle for two years, a full schedule wasn’t the best idea in the first place. To protect the talent from further harm and elongate his latest and arguably final run in the company, Daniel Bryan should be saved for television and pay-per-view only.
WrestleTalk will keep you updated on this situation should it reveal any important facts.
