WWE Star Removed From Match At NXT Deadline 2024

A WWE star has been pulled from the Iron Survivor Challenge match at tonight’s NXT Deadline premium live event.

On this past week’s NXT, there was a mystery attack at the end of the show which saw Eddy Thorpe laid out backstage.

NXT General Manager Ava has now announced that as a result of the attack, Thorpe is out of the Iron Survivor Challenge tonight.

She said:

“Due to the heinous attack he suffered this past Tuesday, Eddy Thorpe has been ruled out of the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.

“We still don’t know who attacked Eddy and we’re continuing to look into the situation.

“However, for Deadline tonight, I will find a suitable replacement to take Eddy’s spot in the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.”

As well as the new replacement, the rest of the men’s Iron Survivor lineup is Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, Nathan Frazer and Ethan Page.

The winner will earn a shot at the NXT Championship, which is being contested for tonight at Deadline by defending champion Trick Williams and challenger Ridge Holland.
