A WWE star has been removed from his planned match at Saturday’s Worlds Collide event in Los Angeles, with his replacement confirmed.
Last night before Raw, Joaquin Wilde vs Lexis King took place as a WWE Speed match, with Wilde picking up an injury.
Wilde later tweeted that he was doing okay but had been knocked out cold during the match.
During tonight’s NXT, a change to the lineup for Worlds Collide with Wilde removed was confirmed.
Wilde was set to team with LWO teammates Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro against the AAA trio of Mr Iguana, Aero Star and Octagon Jr.
Iguana, Aero Star and Octagon were shown in the crowd during tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, with the graphic for the match being displayed underneath.
In the graphic, Wilde had been removed and replaced by Lince Dorado, who will now team with Lee and Del Toro.
After being released by WWE in November 2021, Dorado returned to the company earlier this year in a wrestler/coach role, and has wrestled a few untelevised NXT live event matches, as well as one on Evolve.
