WWE Star Replaced In Match With Championship Implications WWE

A WWE star was replaced in a big match that had future championship implications for an upcoming premium live event.

Ahead of tonight’s eliminator gauntlet on WWE NXT to determine who would move on to get a title shot at NXT No Mercy, there was a parking lot attack.

As Karmen Petrovic was shown on her way into the building, she was attacked by Izzi Dame and then was unable to compete.

It was revealed in a backstage segment that Brinley Reece would take her spot in the match, set to determine who would face Roxanne Perez at WWE NXT No Mercy on September 1.

The lineup for the match therefore became Kendal Grey, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, Adriana Rizzo, Wren Sinclair, and Reece replacing Petrovic.

After all the eliminations, the match came down to the final two of Parker and Ruca.

Jaida Parker picked up the win, and will now challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, Wendy Choo picked up a win over Lola Vice after the NXT North American Champion Kelani Jordan came out to confront Choo.

Wendy Choo swung her pillow at Lola Vice and seemed to knock her out.

Kelani Jordan would go on to challenge Wendy Choo to a championship match at NXT No Mercy and then demand her title back.

It was then revealed Choo has stolen that NXT North American Championship belt, hiding it in her pillow, as Jordan got it back to stand tall by the end of the segment.

So two women’s title matches confirmed for No Mercy: Roxanne Perez vs Jaida Parker, and Kelani Jordan vs Wendy Choo.
