A WWE star’s return match has been officially announced after missing over six months of in-ring action due to injury.
WWE NXT held it’s 2023 Breakout Tournament last December, with 8 rising stars looking for their opportunity to break out onto NXT television.
The tournament was won by North American Champion Oba Femi, but another name who impressed in the tournament was Keanu Carver.
Carver had been absent from NXT and Level Up television for over six months, last competing on the January 30 NXT Level Up tapings in a defeat to Javier Bernal.
Now, WWE has officially announced that Keanu Carver will return to the ring on tomorrow night’s Level Up show, where he faces off against Dante Chen.
Having won his last four one-on-one matches on NXT Level Up, Chen is looking to keep rolling when he battles the hard-hitting Carver.
A combatant in the 2023 NXT Breakout Tournament, Carver has missed more than six months because of an injury, but he’s looking for a signature victory against The Gatekeeper of NXT in his first bout since returning.
