A WWE talent is set to make his on-screen return after almost four years since he last appeared on the company’s programming.
Earlier this year, Lince Dorado returned to WWE in a wrestler/trainer role.
Officially starting his new position in February, Dorado has not appeared on-screen since then, but has wrestled a few matches during untelevised NXT live events.
However, his on-screen return has been confirmed, and will take place on next week’s episode of WWE Evolve.
Dorado has been confirmed for a three-way match also including Jackson Drake and Jordan Oasis, in a qualifier for the new men’s WWE Evolve Championship.
The last time Dorado wrestled on-screen in WWE was on Main Event in September 2021 in a match against Cedric Alexander.
He was released the following November.
Dorado was most notably a member of the Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto and Gran Metalik.
Since returning to the company this year, Dorado has had NXT live event matches against Osiris Griffin, Dion Lennox, Drako Knox and Anthony Luke, winning all of them.
During his time away from WWE, he continued wrestling including two matches in AEW in 2023, one of which was televised – a four-way on Rampage with Johnny TV, Penta and Komander, which was won by Komander.
