WWE Star Returns, Now Wearing Lucha Mask

A WWE star has made his return during tonight’s March 10 episode of Raw, and he’s now wearing a brand new lucha mask.

UPDATE: Chad Gable had a backstage interview later in the show, where he claimed it wasn’t him in the mask – and then someone in the mask was being dragged away by security behind him.

So either it wasn’t Gable in the mask, or he had that situation set up as part of his plan to hide that it was him.

Tonight’s Raw played host to a tornado tag team match between New Day and the LWO team of Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

However, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee weren’t the only men involved in the match wearing a mask.

For the past few months, WWE has been telling the story of how Chad Gable has struggled in matches against luchadores, having suffered losses to Mysterio, Lee and Penta.

Last week, Gable met with a mystery man who apparently gave him the keys to success to turn his fortunes against luchadores around.

The man handed Gable a box, which we didn’t see the contents of – but this week, Gable made his return to WWE Raw wearing a new mask.

The mask was based on the American flag and even had American Made written on it.

Gable attacked Lee and Mysterio at ringside, which led to New Day picking up the win in their match.
