WWE Star Reveals Why He Was ‘Fortunate’ To Spend Time In AEW

A current star has revealed why he was ‘fortunate’ to spend time in AEW before making the move to WWE in 2024.

During a Q&A on Twitter, Shawn Spears responded when asked what his favorite moment from AEW was his favorite.

Shawn Spears who was a member of the AEW roster from 2019 to 2023 however when asked what his favorite moment from the company was, he couldn’t choose only one.

Responding to the fan question, Spears said:

“Plenty. I was fortunate enough to be put in situations that allowed for growth as an individual and more importantly, as a performer.

“All information, good bad or indifferent, that I can pass along to future generations.”

Shawn Spears’ last match in AEW occurred in September 2023 when he participated in the Over Budget Charity Battle Royal at AEW All Out.

After weeks of mysterious WWE teases, Shawn Spears was revealed to be the nameless star who had been appearing in vignettes in advance of the debut.

His first match back in NXT was on March 5 against Uriah Connors.
