A WWE star has revealed the name of their brand new finishing move following its first use in the ring a week prior.
In an impressive WWE debut match on the October 24 edition of NXT, former AEW star Lexis King (FKA Brian Pillman Jr) defeated Dante Chen with a draping, straight jacket neckbreaker manoeuvre.
Following its use, NXT announcers Vic Joseph and Booker T questioned what they should refer to the unique move as, and it seems they haven’t had too long to wait for their answer.
Retweeting a clip of the match’s finish, King would provide an answer to those wondering, as he labelled the move as ‘The Coronation.’
King tweeted:
What does he call it?
He calls it, “The Coronation”
Prior to signing with WWE, King spent over three years in AEW, competing as Brian Pillman Jr, however would find opportunities on TV limited in that time.
King departed AEW following the expiry of his contract, with his final match in the company coming on May 13 as he and fellow recent AEW departure Brock Anderson took on The Gunns.
NXT hosts Halloween Havoc Night Two on October 31, with the NXT Championship set to be decided between Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes.
