WWE Star Says Run As IMPACT World Champion Gave Him Confidence

In wrestling, your journey ultimately plays a big role in determining who you are as a performer. For many WWE stars, their experiences in other companies helped shape them. One of those stars is Bobby Lashley.

During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Lashley talked about how his run as IMPACT World Champion gave him the confidence to succeed. Here is the quote:

“I think [that Impact run] helped out tremendously because once you come into WWE and they say you’re going to be a champion, there’s going to be some uncertainties and insecurities. ‘Am I able to carry that ball? Am I able to do it? Am I able to have those big matches with everyone?’ Because that’s what you need to do as a champion, and when I was in Impact, I had those opportunities.”

Bobby Lashley will have the opportunity to become WWE Champion for the first time tonight. He is currently set to challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship on Raw.
