In a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, Samoa Joe discussed the possibility of Paul Heyman being his advocate. Though Joe didn’t exactly embrace the idea, he didn’t completely rule it out either.
“Not at all. Paul already had his chance, even though Paul and I are businessmen and if circumstances change again and we reach an agreement … we’ll see what happens in the future.”
The two men have not always been so amicable in the past. Joe victimized Heyman in his pursuit of Brock Lesnar before the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view last year.
Heyman and Lesnar’s relationship is in turmoil at the moment. However, Heyman may become a very forgiving man towards Joe if Lesnar cuts him loose. Though Joe is on Smackdown Live and Heyman currently on Raw, there is no reason that couldn’t change.
Heyman has been an asset to many wrestling superstars including CM Punk, Big Show, and Mick Foley. It would be interesting to see what Heyman could do for Samoa Joe. However, seeing as Joe is facing AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, Joe may be fine on his own.
