This week on Raw, Natalya was made to tap out at the hands of Asuka following a back-and-forth match. It was confirmed later on in the show that Asuka will challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship next week.
The match last night was Natalya’s first on Raw in 2020. Her only previous outing so far this year came in the women’s Royal Rumble match where she was eliminated by Beth Phoenix.
While Asuka might have walked out of last night’s show with a title shot, Natalya left with a rather nasty injury. Taking to Twitter, Nattie showed off a nasty bruise under her eye following the match.

Commenting on the picture, the aforementioned WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix took to Twitter to call Natalya the “greatest pro wrestler in history”.
So @NatbyNature is the greatest female prowrestler in history. Anyone that disagrees is wrong. #IronWomen https://t.co/exKXXY3O9V

Nattie likely won’t be out of the ring for any length of time as a result of this, but make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest.
