A certain WWE star has wanted a match with Brock Lesnar for what seems like forever and it sounds like he’s still keen for it to happen.
It’s been said that when Bobby Lashley signed with WWE to return in 2018, one of things both parties agreed on was he’d get a match against Lesnar. We’re now nearly at the end of 2020 and that hasn’t happened.
On the latest episode of After The Bell, Lashley spoke about a possible Brock Lesnar match, saying:
“He’s been running from me. You see it, when I first came in he left; when I left, he came back, when I came back, he left… he’s been running from me this whole time. I met Brock for the first time maybe a year ago. Never crossed paths with him. But I’ve been talking about him from the day that I started. So for me, somebody once told me that ‘Brock has this other stuff’… alright, that’s cool. But if the fans want it, I don’t see why you don’t give it to them. And they’ve been yelling about it.
“I would definitely hit that (shooting star press) on him. And I’ll even get to the top rope. But that’s something that’s needed to happen, either I went for it and he stood up and caught me, or he took it and kicked out of it, or I hit him and pinned him, because that match is that big that it would need a big punch.”
Lashley also addressed the Lana/Rusev romance storyline he was embroiled in several months ago that was criticised by many fans. For his comments on that, click this link.
