A WWE star is reportedly set to miss some time due to injury that is likely to require surgery following WrestleMania 41.
Randy Orton’s WrestleMania 41 plans fell apart earlier this month, when his planned opponent Kevin Owens announced that he would be undergoing neck surgery, leaving Orton without an opponent.
The following week, Orton was confronted by Solo Sikoa and the New Bloodine, teasing Solo as the opponent for Orton at WrestleMania, before he and LA Knight teamed up to face Solo and Tama Tonga in the main event of the April 11 episode of SmackDown.
Following the match, neither Solo or Tonga have competed, with only Solo Sikoa appearing alongside Jacob Fatu for his United States Championship match at WrestleMania 41, with no appearance from Tama Tonga.
The reason for Tama Tonga’s absence has seemingly now been revealed, as PWNexus is reporting that Tonga has suffered an injury that will see him miss some time.
They also noted that the injury appears that it could require surgery.
We wish Tama Tonga all the best following his injury.
