WWE Star Makes Surprise Appearance On NXT

Fresh off of a Championship match at WWE’s premium live event, Night of Champions, a WWE star showed up on tonight’s WWE NXT.

During a match which saw Wes Lee and Tyler Bate tag teaming against The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) the action was abruptly halted not by referee stoppage, rather crowd interruption.

Emerging from within the crowd, Mustafa Ali appeared as the four in the ring stopped, apparently stunned ahead of a commercial break.

When the match returned from break, Ali was at ringside on commentary to not just watch the match, but lend his voice as well.

According to Mustafa Ali, he is now so thirsty for a Championship he will go to any brand in order to find it.

As a free agent, Ali is free to explore options on WWE Raw, SmackDown and apparently NXT.

Along with Von Wagner, Dolph Ziggler and Omos, Ali was announced as a free agent during the WWE Draft.

After the match when Ivy Nile ran out to attack Ava, all hell broke loose as the Dyad escape ringside just as Joe Gacy waged a surprise attack from behind on Wes Lee.

Striking into action, Mustafa Ali ran from commentary to the ring to fend off the interloper, standing tall at the end of the segment alongside Tyler Bate and Wes Lee.
