The news of WWE’s new Twitch policies has been making waves today. WWE controlling talent’s Twitch accounts and possibly forcing stars to stream at the risk of losing money and facing suspensions. One of the people who could be most affected by this is Paige.
Today, she took to Twitter to vent about how she built her fanbase on the platform. Needless to say, she doesn’t seem pleased. Here is the tweet:

“Twitch is MY place what I built with my wonderful fans. A place where people can go and feel some positivity and little bit of normalcy. Fun. Interactive. Non judgemental. Charitable place. I’m proud of what I built with my fan base.”
Andrew Yang reported earlier today that WWE talent were being forced to sign new contracts. The new deals would make streaming a work obligation. Should talent choose not to stream they could be at risk of losing income and facing suspensions. Yang made it clear this didn’t sound like something that would happen to independent contractors.
Many WWE star have taken to Twitch and other streaming services to generate extra income and interact with their fans. These new policies have certainly thrown a monkey wrench into that.
