A WWE star has teased a change to their entrance theme in reaction to a recent online report.
It was recently reported by PWNexus’ Cory Hays that some big changes could be set to be implemented to WWE’s music, both for shows and superstar entrances.
The report stated that WWE plan to utilise mainstream musical artists going forward, with it later being added that the company may also be set to part ways with Def Rebel – who have produced music for the company since 2019.
While that remains to be seen, one WWE star is seemingly all for a change – with a particular song potentially in mind for his theme.
Taking to Twitter, WWE NXT star Brooks Jensen wrote in response to Cory Hays’ report:
Wait so that means… #SmackDown #WWENXT
Jensen is most certainly referring to Journey and their 1983 hit Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), of which he used in a non-televised NXT bout against Oba Femi last October.
Despite Jensen and fans hoping he would be able to use the track on TV, he would instead later debut a WWE produced theme inspired by Journey’s anthem instead.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on the potential changes to WWE’s music as/when they become available.
