A WWE star has sent a message of thanks to Nick Khan for his and the company’s support in helping him further pursue his music career.
As well as being a fixture of WWE for much of the past 25 years, R-Truth has pursued a career as a rapper, something he has long tied into his wrestling character since first debuting on WWE TV back in 2000.
Performing music under his real name Ron Killings, the veteran star is set to host a One Night Only concert at SOBs in New York City this Sunday, November 16, following the release of his new country music project ‘The White Album’ on August 12.
Ahead of the concert Truth spoke with the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, and gave a shout out to Nick Khan and WWE for their support in this endeavour:
“For one it’s an honor to be performing in that spot in that place. For two to have my home base WWE supporting me with my music, my life dream. I was a rapper before I was a wrestler. Wrestling became a love of mine. I got to give a shout out to Nick Khan for making all this possible.”

2025 has been a notable year for Truth, who departed WWE at the end of his contract in June only to be swiftly re-signed by the company following widespread outcry, something he attributed to WWE President Nick Khan following his return at Money in the Bank 2025.
