A WWE star has seemingly issued a threat regarding the potential split of their upcoming tag team opponents.
On tonight’s WWE NXT, it was confirmed that Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will challenge Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Championship on the October 8 Missouri episode.
Nathan Frazer took to Twitter to share an image that you can see below, touting a list of the teams that have been taken out by Axiom and Frazer.
The teams listed, with a grim reaper outside their door, are the Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker), MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter), and Chase U (Ridge Holland and Andre Chase).
This isn’t a comprehensive list of the challengers that Frazer and Axiom have beaten, but it’s a list of teams they’ve beaten that are no longer together.
Ironically, for much of their run, many fans expected Axiom and Frazer to be the ones that would break up, but so far, that hasn’t happened.
Frazer’s post seems to imply that Waller and Theory could be the next team to suffer that fate, and considering what’s been going on between them for the past few months, that could well end up being the case.
Elsewhere set for the October 8 show, Randy Orton will take on NXT star Je’Von Evans.
WWE NXT will debut on The CW on October 1, live from Chicago with an special appearance from CM Punk and his role now confirmed.
