WWE Star Challenges For TNA Wrestling Championship

A WWE star lost a championship match at TNA Wrestling’s Sacrifice event in El Paso, TX on Friday, March 14.

After almost two months of feuding, WWE NXT star Cora Jade challenged Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockout’s Championship at Sacrifice.

In what was Jade’s first attempt to capture gold outside of WWE, the 24-year-old took Slamovich to the limit, even delivering a Canadian Destroyer to the Russian star on the apron of the ring.

Unfortunately for Jade however, she failed to win the first singles title of her career, with Slamovich delivering Requiem for the three count.

The successful title defence extends Slamovich’s title run beyond the 140 day mark, while Jade will head back to NXT empty handed.

Elsewhere at TNA Sacrifice, Jade’s fellow WWE NXT roster members Wes Lee, Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont competed in a six-man tag team match against The Rascalz and Ace Austin, with the latter trio picking up the win.

While those appearances were advertised beforehand, fans watching Sacrifice were also given a surprise appearance from two more WWE NXT stars – as Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson showed up to tease a big title challenge against two TNA stars.
