WWE Star To Return To Smackdown Tonight?

Back in September, Elias was pulled from his King of the Ring semi-final match against Shorty G (then Chad Gable) due to injury.

It was later reported that the Smackdown star was dealing with an ankle injury and would need some time on the sidelines to recover.

Elias’ last match for WWE was a King of the Ring tournament quater-final match against Mustafa Ali on the September 3rd episode of Smackdown. However, it has been rumoured that he is ready to return.

Heel By Nature is now reporting that Elias was seen walking into the venue of Friday Night Smackdown tonight along with Michael Cole and former tag team champions The Revival.

There is no word on if WWE is planning on having Elias return on Smackdown tonight, but the fact that he has been spotted walking into the arena is certainly a good indication that this might be the case.

Elias was feuding with Shorty G before being taken off TV due to injury. As Gable’s feud with King Corbin is now certainly over, perhaps WWE will have Shorty G and Elias reignite their rivalry heading into TLC.
