WWE Star To Work Injured For 6 Months

A WWE star has updated their fans following a recent injury, revealing that it will take 6 months for their injury to heal.

On the most recent episode of Raw, Asuka returned to action, renewing her rivalry with Shayna Baszler. The Raw Women’s Champion was seeking revenge after Baszler injured her last month.

In February, A rogue kick from Baszler knocked Asuka’s front teeth out and gave The Empress a concussion. According to Asuka herself, her injury will take months to heal.

Speaking on the Japanese social networking app NowVoice, Asuka revealed that the front teeth that fans saw upon her return were temporary.

Explaining that it will take 6 months for her injury to completely heal, Asuka noted that she will then receive implants to replace the teeth that were knocked out on Raw.

We witnessed a much more vicious version of Asuka this week, as the Japanese star attempted to put Baszler on the shelf too. In a backstage interview after the show, Asuka confirmed that she is seeking payback:

“Two weeks ago Shayna gave me big damage, you know? I wanted to give her payback. It was very close. Next time I will get here, you know? OK, OK!”

While Asuka currently doesn’t have a challenger for WrestleMania 37, many are expecting Charlotte Flair to come after the Raw Women’s Championship.

Ric Flair has recently discussed Charlotte’s decorated career, and how he’d feel if she broke his historic WWE record.
