WWE Star Turning Heel Update

An update has emerged regarding a WWE star potentially turning heel during tonight’s August 11 episode of Raw.

Last week, there was something of a subtle hint that there could be issues brewing between former Damage CTRL teammates Asuka and IYO SKY.

SKY was chatting with the Kabuki Warriors – Asuka and Kairi Sane – when Rhea Ripley walked in and asked to speak to SKY.

Asuka’s response to that was to tell SKY, “IYO, you talk to your friend.”

This week, after SKY’s match against Naomi was canceled due to Naomi not being medically cleared per WWE, SKY set up a match against Roxanne Perez instead.

With Perez set to have Raquel Rodriguez accompany her at ringside, Asuka suggested the Kabuki Warriors should be in SKY’s corner to make sure everything was fair.

However, SKY politely declined the offer and left the Kabuki Warriors backstage.

During the match itself, when Rodriguez did attempt to get involved, the Kabuki Warriors came out and tried to help SKY, but instead, ended up being more of a hindrance as SKY had to stop herself in her tracks when she was about to accidentally knock them off the apron.

The hesitation ultimately cost SKY the match as Perez rolled her up from behind and pinned her.

Backstage afterwards, SKY and Asuka were arguing as SKY pointed out she told them to stay behind the scenes and they ignored her request.

The argument ended with Asuka physically shoving SKY and storming off, with Sane just standing by and looking conflicted, seemingly not really taking a side at this point.

Whichever side Sane ends up being on, it appears Asuka may be on the verge of a heel turn to set up a match/feud against SKY.
