A WWE star has turned heel with an attack against a beloved fan favorite star on tonight’s September 30 WWE Raw.
It seems that finally the persistence of Karrion Kross is beginning to pay off as one of the roster members he has been targeting turned heel on their longtime partner.
While Kross remained ever present in the New Day storyline occurring between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (literally appearing behind them, lurking behind their conversations backstage, it seems his influence has come up with another star.
Tonight on WWE Raw, there was a tag team match with R-Truth and The Miz reuniting upon Truth’s return to take on the Final Testament’s tag team of the Authors of Pain.
With the entire Final Testament squad at ringside, Kross, Scarlett and Paul Ellering were on hand to see the eventual betrayal of a beloved fan favorite.
During the match, The Miz turned on R-Truth, nailing him with a big boot and vacating the ring, leaving Truth to suffer alone.
After being briefly battered by Akam and Rezar, R-Truth would go on to lose the match as The Miz simply left up the entrance way.
Karrion Kross for his part was shown maniacally laughing at the turn of events.
Miz’s heel turn comes after there was seemingly a notable babyface turn earlier in the show, which you can read about at this link.
