WWE Star Turns Heel, Tag Team Breaks Up

A WWE star has turned heel on their tag team partner, bringing an end to the team on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.

Over the past few months, tensions have begun emerging between Zaria and Sol Ruca, the alliance known as ZaRuca.

Zaria had begun to grow frustrated with Sol pursuing singles opportunities at the expense of Zaria, which was only amplified when Sol stole the victory in a tag team match to earn an NXT Women’s Championship shot at Jacy Jayne.

The match between Jacy and Sol was announced for tonight’s episode of NXT, with Zaria accompanying Sol for the match, though the match never got underway.

Before the bell rang, Zaria would turn on her partner, laying her out with a Spear and an F5, officially turning heel and ending ZaRuca.

Sol would call for the bell to ring, with Jacy instantly hitting the Rolling Encore to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

Zaria would add insult to injury, delivering another F5 to Sol, this time on the announce table.
