An injured star is set to return to TV for the first time in 11 months at an upcoming WWE event.
On last night’s NXT (February 27) a vignette aired which seemingly confirmed the return of Sol Ruca to WWE TV.
The vignette (see below) shows the image of a beach – with the message ‘see you soon’ written into the sand.
The logo for NXT Roadblock then appears, confirming that we can expect this returning star back for the March 5 event.
Given Ruca’s surfer character, this is most likely a tease for her long-awaited return to action following her ACL tear suffered back in April 2023.
Ruca’s last televised WWE appearance came back on April 11, 2023 – where she competed against Tiffany Stratton in singles action.
Adding further evidence that this vignette is indeed for Ruca’s return, the California-native recently made her return to action on NXT’s live event circuit – competing in matches on February 9 and 17.
Although Ruca’s vignette doesn’t leave much to the imagination, we now know the identity of the individual behind NXT’s recent teases related to an individual with ‘three faces’.
That being none other than former AEW star Shawn Spears, who made his return to WWE after a five year absence on last night’s episode (February 27).
