It has been several months since Ben Carter began appearing on NXT UK. Now, it has been announced that he will be changing his name to Nathan Frazer.

The announcement was made in a promotional video from WWE earlier today. Carter said in the video that with a new start comes a new name and Nathan Frazer will become a champion. No storyline reason was given for why he is changing his name. Here is the video.

Ben Carter became a standout of AEW Dark last year with a number of impressive matches, including a win over Lee Johnson. Instead of joining AEW, he elected to sign with NXT UK where he has been wrestling since.

He has won a handful of matches and unsuccessfully challenged Jordan Devlin for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
