After months of being harassed and beaten down by Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens has had enough. After a fantastic match with Seth Rollins, where Owens failed to capture the Intercontinental Championship, Owens sat down in the ring to utter two simple words, “I quit.” And no he’s not going to be “All In.” Come on, you’re all smarter than that.
Owens answered Rollins’ open challenge, and cut a promo on how he has been victimized and bullied by Braun Strowman, also stating how Rollins needed his friends’ help to beat Ziggler, Owens proceeded to say how it’s not fair how his best friend, Sami Zayn, is injured. Kevin Owens made himself look destroyed, and desperate to get on top. The promo got across Owens’ disdain for his recent months on Raw, and his desire to once again hold a title.
After Owens missed a picture-perfect Moonsault off the top rope, he was hit by a Curbstomp (I’m not calling it ‘The Stomp’) which secured Rollins the win. After commercial, Owens was still in the ring, being given an obviation by the Toronto crowd. ‘The Prizefighter’ looked down for a couple of seconds, before somberly stating: “I quit” and walking out of the arena.
Even though this is most certainly a work, it’s not hard to sympathize with KO. He has been made to look like a joke in recent months and has fallen a long way from being Universal Champion. Before Raw, Kevin Owens put out two tweets, one showing his high points in WWE, the other showing the ways he has been tormented by Strowman for the past couple of months.

Owens has not made a public comment since walking out. But, former friend Chris Jericho inserted himself into the conversation, likely just to screw with us WWE fans.
