WWE Star Wants WrestleMania Title Match With Roman Reigns

WWE Star Wants WrestleMania Title Match With Roman Reigns

A popular WWE competitor has revealed that he wants to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship.

Roman Reigns had an impressive 2020. Transitioning from The Big Dog to The Tribal Chief, Reigns has shown the WWE locker room that he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Big E has recently noted that he would like to challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

Talking on Oral Sessions with Renée Paquette, the former powerlifter noted that he’s been working towards a World Championship for 8 years, and feels he’s established enough to challenge the Universal titleholder.

Here is the full quote:

“Roman is clearly, when you look at the WWE pecking order, he’s at the very top. And having that match is the biggest moment. And I hope we’re at a point in another month or two where I feel like I’m established enough and I’m high enough where it makes sense. In the same vein, I have no idea what the plan is. I also want this to feel earned. I think sometimes you get too much too soon, and that’s also weird to say for someone who’s been around for eight years, like I don’t feel like I just came up and they just handed me this World Title opportunity, but obviously gun to my head it’s a match with Roman for the World Title.”

Since debuting on the main roster at the end of 2012, Big E has won the Intercontinental Championship twice, and held some version of the Tag Team Championships 8 times.

The current Intercontinental Champion is a fan favourite, so Big E being chosen to challenge Reigns at WrestleMania 37 would be a popular decision.
