A WWE star scored the victory in their first-ever televised match on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the CW.
On NXT in recent months, Shawn Spears has been beginning to recruit a number of NXT stars to his side, starting with Brooks Jensen.
Recently, Spears added a new name to his ranks, that being the imposing Niko Vance, who had competed in a number of matches on NXT Level Up and live events, but not on NXT television.
On tonight’s episode of NXT, Niko Vance took part in his first televised match, teaming with Brooks to face off against Channing Stacks Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino of the D’Angelo Family.
Vance was able to pick up the win for his team, pinning Stacks with a lariat to win his first televised match.
Earlier in the night, Izzi Dame came to the aid of Tony D’Angelo in his North American Championship match against Ridge Holland after weeks of being scouted by Spears.
