A WWE star has picked up the TNA Knockouts World Championship during tonight’s TNA No Surrender streaming event.
Earlier tonight at No Surrender, NXT’s Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo lost the TNA International Championship to Trey Miguel.
However, it didn’t take long for another title to be exchanged between the promotions.
Lorenzo’s fiancée and fellow NXT star Arianna Grace is the new TNA Knockouts World Champion after she defeated Lei Ying Lee (formerly known as Xia Li in WWE) tonight.
Grace used the Cobra, which she stole from her father Santino Marella on last night’s TNA Impact, to help her to victory.
Grace is now the third NXT star to have picked up the TNA Knockouts World Title as part of the company crossovers after Jacy Jayne and Kelani Jordan.
Grace and Lorenzo have recently formed a faction on NXT TV known as Birthright along with Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey and Uriah Connors, with the idea that they’re all second/multi-generation talents – with the exception of Lorenzo who qualifies as an in-law.
Other notable appearances at No Surrender tonight have included Jelly Roll and WWE legend Mickie James.
