WWE star Noam Dar has won the ICW World Championship by defeating the former champ, Stevie Boy.
Dar began competing for Insane Championship Wrestling again in November. This culminated with his title win at Square Go in Glasgow, Scotland.
Dar has a long history with ICW, competing for the promotion from 2010-2016. In his first run with the company, he was unable to capture the ICW World Championship and departed upon his signing with WWE in 2016.
He also began competing in NXT UK in October of 2018. Since then, he unsuccessfully challenged for Pete Dunne’s WWE UK Championship and defeated Travis Banks at NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff.
Another famous time a WWE star won the world title in another promotion was when Tazz won the ECW World Championship in 2000 while under contract to WWE.
