When Karl Anderson made his WWE return earlier this month, a lot of questions were raised due to him still being the NEVER Openweight Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The idea of a current NJPW Champion wrestling in WWE brought with it the idea that WWE under the new regime would find themselves branching out and working with other wrestling promotions.
Well WWE’s Forbidden Door has continued to open, as Pro Wrestling NOAH announced during their show today that WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura will be heading to the promotion to wrestle the Great Muta at the NOAT The New Year show on January 1, 2023.
The match is a part of Muta’s ongoing retirement tour that will also see him team with AEW star Sting.
Nakamura reacted to the announcement on Twitter, simply stating:
This is Miracle
