
A returning WWE star is set for a massive push heading into WrestleMania 41 after the upcoming Royal Rumble 2025 event.
Announced ahead of the Rumble tonight, Charlotte Flair will be returning in the women’s Rumble match after being out of action since December 2023 due to injury.
According to a report from PWInsider Elite, the return of Charlotte Flair is planned to be a “major lynchpin” for the women’s Rumble.
Flair is set for a “massive push” heading into WrestleMania, which will be kicked off tonight.
Already announced for the 2025 WWE women’s Royal Rumble are: Nia Jax, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile, IYO SKY, Zelina Vega, Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, leaving 16 unannounced entrants.
WWE has confirmed that “at least one to two” of those unnamed entrants will come from NXT.
It has also been revealed that the women’s Royal Rumble match will open tonight’s show live from Indianapolis, Indiana.
