A WWE star may have been written off TV with a storyline injury during tonight’s August 18 episode of SmackDown on FOX.

On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, there was a big women’s tag team match featuring four of WWE’s biggest female stars in two-on-two action.

Bianca Belair teamed with Charlotte Flair to take on Bayley and WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY of Damage CTRL.

After picking up the win alongside Flair, Bianca Belair was later seen being interviewed backstage with Cathy Kelley.

However during the chat, she was attacked from behind by Damage CTRL who waged a serious beatdown.

The attack saw Damage CTRL trap Belair’s leg in a steel chair and stomp on it, in the same way usually done to write people off TV.

There was no prior word of any issues Belair would need to be written off TV for so we’ll keep you updated if that’s actually the case, but it certainly seemed like it.

Elsewhere on tonight’s SmackDown, the Street Profits beat the Good Brothers pf the OC, showing off their rejuvenation after hooking up with Bobby Lashley.

After the match, Lashley came out to the entrance ramp to celebrate alongside Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
