WWE Star Written Off TV Update WWE

On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, a recent departure from the company that had been alluded to was addressed directly.

In a backstage segment, Charlie Dempsey interrupted Tony D’Angelo playing a card game with the rest of The D’Angelo Family to ask a confidential question.

On last week’s show, it was seemingly explained that Damon Kemp had been shoved in the trunk of a by the rest of the No Quarter Catch Crew – Cahrlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.

This came shortly after Damon Kemp announced that WWE wasn’t renewing his contract and he became a free agent, so this was the ‘storyline’ explanation for his disappearance.

However. just before the NQCC left with Kemp stuffed in their trunk, Dempsey noticed that Wren Sinclair was also in the parking lot.

While she said she didn’t see anything, Dempsey was clearly concerned about her being a witness and has now turned to Tony D’Angelo for help.

While D’Angelo first asked why Dempsey didn’t just whack the witness, when finding out it was Wren Sinclair, Tony D’Angelo told Charlie Dempsey he was on his own.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, Ethan Page successfully retained his NXT Championship in a match against Dante Chen.

He was promptly after the match attacked by Oro Mensah, but Page was able to fend him off at first.

However, Mensah would go on to continue the fight, getting Page back into the ring for a beatdown after which he ‘pinned’ Page as the crowd counted the ‘pinfall’ which obviously wasn’t official, but was him proving he could pin Page as he continues to pitch a championship match.
