A WWE star’s debut match has been announced for tomorrow night’s (May 12) episode of NXT Level Up.
In the 2023 WWE Draft, many stars from the NXT brand were called up to the main roster, which opens up room for more names to fill the spots on the show.
On tomorrow night’s episode of NXT Level Up, new women’s star Kelani Jordan is set to make her in-ring debut, when she takes on Wendy Choo.
Also set for the show is Bronco Nima and Lucien Price taking on Edris Enofe and Malik Blade, as well as Dante Chen taking on Tavion Heights.
Jordan is the new ring name of Lea Mitchell, who signed with WWE after the SummerSlam 2022 tryouts.
Mitchell was a superstar for the Michigan State gymnastics team from 2018-2022 including leading the Spartans to NCAA Regionals in 2022.
Jordan actually appeared as a background member of Chase U on this week’s (May 9) episode of NXT.
Here’s a rundown of what happened on the May 9 episode of NXT:
Tiffany Stratton def. Gigi Dolin in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament
Mark Coffey & Wolfgang def. The Dyad to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship after distractions on the outside including a brawl between Ava and Ivy Nile
Duke Hudson def. Javier Bernal
Eddy Thorpe def. Damon Kemp
Ilja Dragunov def. Dijak via DQ when Dijak attacked Dragunov with a steel chair and continued the attack post-match
