WWE
A former WWE talent has confirmed their final match with the company following recent news of their departure.
There were several WWE releases and departures confirmed a couple of weeks ago, mainly from NXT and the company’s developmental system.
One of those was Leigh Laurel, who had appeared under her real name on LFG and then as Jin Tala on Evolve.
However, last night’s episode of WWE Evolve saw her in action against Masyn Holiday.
With Evolve usually taped several weeks in advance, there have been a few occasions now of talents having left the company with their matches still airing.
Responding to questions about her status, Laurel, now going by the name Lady Leigh, has confirmed that the match against Holiday was in fact her final WWE match.
First, she jokingly tweeted:
Evolve stipulation match: loser leaves NXT 😅
She then added:
Watch the whole match, Evolve on Tubi. Was a pleasure having @masynholidaywwe as my last tv match ❤️
Leigh will be working for Beyond Wrestling at Novembercanrana on November 14 in Cranston, Rhode Island against Liviyah.
