WWE Stars’ First Matches Outside The Company Announced WWE

The first matches of two WWE stars set to take place outside of the company have now been officially announced.

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles competed in his first match in Japan in many years this past weekend, when he represented WWE in Pro Wrestling NOAH against Japanese legend Naomichi Marufuji.

During the show, more crossover between WWE and NOAH was announced, when NOAH announced that NXT stars Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights would compete in NOAH’s N1 Victory Tournament.

Briggs will be competing in the A Block, while Heights will take part in the B Block, with the tournament set to begin on August 4.

Today, NOAH announced the first matches for the tournament at the N1 Victory Day 1 event at Yokohama Budokan on August 4, including the matches for Briggs and Heights.

Josh Briggs will kick off his tournament in a B block match against Titus Alexander, while Heights will compete in a rather unique match against NJPW star Ryohei Oiwa.

Heights is also set for action on TNA IMPACT, with the No Quarter Catch Crew recently appearing on the show.
