WWE Stars Found Out About WrestleMania Appearance The Night Before

It has been revealed that these WWE stars only were told about their WrestleMania segment the night before it took place.

The Bella Twins got physical during WrestleMania 37 Night 2, disposing of Bayley after she interrupted Titus O’Neil and Hulk Hogan. According to the Hall of Famers, they didn’t have long to prepare for this spot.

Speaking on their Bellas podcast, Brie and Nikki Bella revealed that they were told just the night before that they had a segment on the next show. Nikki even revealed that she had to cut the train off her Hall of Fame dress, just to have something “sparkly” to wear.

Here is the full quote:

Brie: “We got a call to do something with Hogan, Titus, and Bayley. It was really cool because we were like, ‘Yes, we would love to do something.’ Then, we got to the building and they were like, ‘You’ll be on right before the main event,'”

Nikki: “We get the call the night before that they’d like us (to do the segment) on Sunday night. I remember just going, ‘I don’t have anything to wear.’

“I want to give a last shout-out to someone who I think it so special to our company. He always amazes me and has such a big heart. Titus O’Neil. He did such an incredible job hosting. He’s such a class act. He’s so positive and always making you laugh. I really love that guy. All he wants to do is do good,”

The role that The Bella Twins played in their segment was similar to the role that Becky Lynch was rumoured to play at WrestleMania. While Lynch didn’t appear, a different report claimed that WWE creative had prepared for her return.

On the same night, Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Ripley has recalled the backstage reaction to her win, including the response from a very emotional Edge.
