It has been officially announced that two WWE talents will be going away to another country to work with another company.
Earlier this week at NXT Homecoming, No Quarter Catch Crew leader Charlie Dempsey announced that he would be ‘going away for a month’ to Japan.
Pro Wrestling NOAH has now officially announced that Dempsey will be going over to NOAH for its September 23 show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Dempsey had some matches in Japan last year, but for AJPW instead of NOAH.
NOAH also confirmed another name from WWE NXT that will be making the same trip as Dempsey will be Harlem Lewis.
Lewis has yet to make an official debut on NXT TV, but has been on LFG, Evolve, Level Up, and has even had a match on Raw where he was used as enhancement talent in a match against Odyssey Jones last year, using his real name Vincent Whiney.
NOAH tweeted:
We are pleased to announce that two wrestlers from NXT in America, Harlem Lewis and Charlie Dempsey, will be attending the Korakuen Hall event on September 23.
WWE and NOAH have had a relationship for a while now, with Omos, Josh Briggs, Tavion Heights, and even Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles among the names to work matches for NOAH over the past couple of years.
In the other direction, Yoshiki Inamura became a featured player on NXT for the past year.
