A pair of WWE stars have reportedly received “high marks” backstage for their work in their ongoing feud.
Ever since both Andrade and Carmelo Hayes competed in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match they have been out to one-up each other inside the ring.
After Andrade picked up two straight wins over Hayes on both the July 19 and August 2 edition’s of SmackDown, Hayes would finally get his win back on last week’s show (August 16).
However, based on Andrade’s visit to Hayes’ barber shop on this week’s show it seems as if the feud is set to continue forward, which is not a massive surprise given a recent report from Fightful Select.
Fightful note that both Andrade and Hayes have both received “high marks” for their “storytelling in the ring and getting the audience invested in their feud”.
While it seems likely that their feud will continue, there could be the potential for either Andrade or Hayes to potentially step up and challenge United States Champion LA Knight next Friday in Berlin (August 30).
After successfully defending his title against Santos Escobar, the Mega Star announced that he would be having an open challenge for his title on next week’s show, with Corey Graves suggesting earlier in the night that both Andrade and Hayes may have an eye on Knight’s title.
While that may be set for the SmackDown beforehand, WWE Bash in Berlin received a brand new match announcement courtesy of SmackDown GM Nick Aldis – follow this link for full details.
